Melanie E. Russell, FCPA, FCA, FCBV, CIM, CFE, CFF, ABV, FDRP-Val, is the founder of Kalex Partners Inc. and has over 30 years of experience in accounting, valuation, forensic investigation, and financial consulting. She advises on business and financial instrument valuation, economic damages quantification, forensic investigations, due diligence, and financial modeling, and has been qualified as an expert witness in the areas of business/ asset valuation, quantification of economic damages, income determination and forensic accounting courts alternative dispute resolution forums and tribunals across Canada. Melanie has taught at various educational institutions professional bodies and industry organizations and is the author of several publications on valuations and financial crime. She was named a CPA Ontario Fellow in 2023 and a recipient of the fellow of the Chartered Business Valuator fellow in 2026.
